About Keith Schuchardt

Keith Schuchardt graduated from A.T. Still University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His background and work experience as a strength and conditioning coach, fitness specialist and personal trainer since 2008 have helped develop his interest in working as a Physical Therapist on patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. Keith is interested in using his manual therapy skills to help diagnose and treat patient with various musculoskeletal conditions. He is interested in utilizing manual therapy techniques, return-to-sport rehabilitation, and more. Currently, Keith is an Adjunct Faculty member at Grand Canyon University, teaching courses such as Anatomy and Physiology and Exercise Science for Special Populations. He developed his interest in teaching and experience abroad while teaching English as a Second Language courses in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Keith grew up playing ice hockey from age eight through the collegiate level. Keith has a Bachelor and Masters’ degrees in Exercise Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and California University of Pennsylvania, respectively. He has worked with numerous youth athletes from ages 8 to 21 including junior Olympic level ice dancers, collegiate, junior, and semi-professional ice hockey players, and youth athletes of other various sports as a strength and conditioning coach. Keith continues to play ice hockey recreationally, strength train, and is an avid skier and snowboarder. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two Yorkshire terriers at home.
